Is it really free?

Most of our outings are free. When there are costs (transportation, camping, rentals), they’re clearly listed on the outing before you sign up.

I’ve never done outdoor stuff with a group. Can I come?

Even better! Every outing lists its level, region and date ahead of time. Pick the one that feels like you, and come as you are.

How do I sign up?

Right in the calendar on our site, or from the outing’s Instagram story or post. Take whichever route is easiest for you.

I’m missing some gear. What do I do?

The list of what you need is on every outing. Missing something? Message us: we’d rather lend you gear than have you buy it.

How do I get to the starting point?

We meet up at the meeting spot and sort out carpools. No car? Just let us know: we’ll find you a seat.

Is it safe?

Before every outing, no exceptions, everyone signs a waiver and leaves an emergency contact. We always go at the pace of the slowest person, with an organizer who knows the area well.

How do I get my order?

You choose at checkout: free pickup at a Dehors outing, or shipping anywhere in Canada in 3 to 7 business days.

Why do you ask for my Instagram?

That’s how we reach you about your order, especially to set up pickup at an outing.

Who organizes the outings?

A crew of passionate volunteers. On every outing, a designated organizer knows the area and makes sure everyone comes back in one piece.

Can I suggest an outing?

Yes! Fill out the outing idea form: we’ll see if it’s doable and get back to you.

How do I keep up with upcoming outings?

The calendar on our site is always up to date, and we announce every outing on Instagram (@dehors.qc).
