Dehors Ice Axe
$100 · in stock
Available in: 67 cm, 77 cm
A hiking ice axe for the mountains that require one in winter. We ordered it because the same thing kept happening on every hard outing: mandatory gear was holding back people who were perfectly capable of doing the mountain. Bought as a group so the price stays below what stores charge, for comparable quality. Also available as a day rental on outings that call for it.
Materials and care
Two lengths: 67 cm and 77 cm.
After an outing, rinse it with fresh water if it touched salt or mud, wipe it and let it dry before putting it away. Cover the pick and the spike in your bag. Before every outing, check that the head is still tight on the shaft.
Shipping and pickup
Free pickup at a Dehors outing: choose the outing at checkout and leave with your item that same day.
Shipping within Quebec: $25, straight to your door in 3 to 7 business days. Ordering several items? You only pay the highest shipping fee: everything goes out in the same parcel.
